Our cient, a leader in the Publishing and Education industry is looking for a Copywriter ASAP for on-site needs!


The GED test has opened doors to better jobs and college programs for more than 20 million graduates since 1942. The GED test is accepted by virtually all U.S. colleges and employers. As the creator of the one official GED test, GED Testing Service has a responsibility to ensure that the program continues to be a reliable and valuable pathway to a better life for the millions of adults without a high school diploma. The organization continues to develop several new, innovative programs like GEDWorks. GED Testing Service is a joint venture between the American Council on Education and Pearson.


Overview GED Testing Service is seeking a copywriter to create compelling, on-brand copy for a website redesign as well as create copy for emails, ads, brochures and flyers, and assist with copy editing to ensure brand alignment. You should have a passion for writing and storytelling and be able to align to the brand voice while using words to influence and compel a variety of audiences and stakeholders to take action.

  • Create engaging webpage content as part of a website redesign. Edit and refine existing content as well as create original content to educate, inform and tell the GED Testing Service story.
  • Write content for variety of webpages aimed at our diverse set of audiences and stakeholders. 
  • Educate target audiences and highlight benefits and value proposition of the GED® test and GED® products and increase awareness for the effectiveness of products and solutions.
  • Create content for a variety of high quality materials including emails, newsletters, product brochures, promotional flyers, digital ads and other materials used to promote the company’s products and services.
  • Collaborate effectively with designers, marketers and product owners to develop creative concepts and bring them to life through written words and design ideas.
  • Ensure a consistent brand voice in all marketing materials and help refine the voice of our brand and products.
