Primary Skill Requirement
Verizon Wireless is looking for a passionate copywriter with 1-3 years of experience in a collaborative, high-pressure environment.
The ideal candidate must be able to deliver a best-in-class, end-to-end customer experience while balancing the requirements, feedback and time-constraints of various departments, including but not limited to Sales, Support, Promotions, Legal and external agencies.
As a highly collaborative position, the ideal candidate must be a strong listener. Must be able to work with other copywriters, visual designers, UX/UI designers, project managers, stakeholders within various ISO departments as well as executive leadership.
The ideal candidate’s primary responsibility is to consistently maintain, develop and execute the Verizon brand voice across desktop, tablet & mobile e-commerce channels. Day-to-day tasks include the creation of marketing promotions, device launches, merchandizing and seasonal campaigns like Black Friday & Holiday. Additional day-to-day tasks include solving for friction points in the sales funnel, simplifying complex decision points and identifying new opportunities in the customer experience.
Finally, the ideal candidate must be at the forefront of marketing and/or technology trends. They must have an endless curiosity for Verizon Wireless’ products & services. Additionally, they will be challenged to constantly look for new ways to simplify content, generate new value propositions and most importantly, conceptual creative work.
• 1-3 years experience in high-pressure environment.

Bachelor’s of Arts in English, Journalism or liberal arts from an accredited university.
Masters or higher preferred.
