Copywriter - bilingual

Our well-known agency client is seeking a bi-lingual copywriter to join their staff in a contract-to-hire position. The ideal candidate is expected to be multi-dimensional, with previous experience within a wide range of mediums including digital, outdoor, television and print. The copywriter will work closely with the Planning team and Account team to understand and interpret the strategic intent of a project, and then leads the thinking around the concept and ideation as the project moves from theory to execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
3+ years experience in an agency setting is required.
Responsible for driving the creation of original concepts that result in powerfully engaging communication.
Expected to produce clear, concise, grammatically correct and convincing copy.
Understand the different language styles that appeal to various target markets.
Should be a storyteller with a fluid writing style that is adaptable across channels, brands and audiences.
Collaborative, sees others’ points of view, and works productively and harmoniously with cross-functional teams.
Builds relationships at appropriate client/vendor level. May often be asked to interface with clients.
Complies to quality standards for the team as set forth by the department.
Previous experience in QSR/foodservice industry a plus.
Familiarity with writing for Latin American and Caribbean audiences a plus.
Bilingual (English and Spanish)
