Seeking an excellent Copywriter for our client's Events team! 

Must be able to create long-form content in clear, concise language that is also conversational enough to read aloud. Develop demand-generation campaigns, blog posts, web content, banners, emails, social, signage, event guides, and sharp, smart headlines that capture interest.

Our client's Creative and Digital team seeks a mid-level Copywriter for their Events team to work on a huge variety of projects spanning all our client's products and services; craft compelling, original content; refine and improve on others' content (better, clearer, more conversational & more concise). Brainstorm creative concepts while acting as a demand-generation guru, creating connected advertising campaigns that drive registration and engagement. Must have strong long-form skills and be skilled at translating business jargon into approachable, conversational content that easily explains. Bring a fresh perspective to our client's customer communications re: global events & be passionately share that vision with the team and internal & external partners. 

Responsibilities: 
-Write engaging copy in a conversational, customer-oriented style
-Master client's brand voice and tone 
-Understand advertising craft, and occasionally write sharp, smart headlines

-Attend all necessary briefings, meetings, and presentations

-Manage multiple projects for internal and external clients, working with project management to meet deadlines 
-Monitor current competitors, industry trends, and technology 

Requirements: 
-B.A. in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field
-5-7 years of experience writing marketing copy either at an internal creative marketing team or an advertising agency. Tech experience helps, but isn’t required. 
-Experience writing for B2B customers 
-A solid understanding of technology and the cloud 
-Knowledge of proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation 
-Flexibility and patience in the face of changing methods and objectives 
-Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills 
-Infectiously optimistic and positive attitude 
-A portfolio with examples of your writing is a must
