A small internal communications team at a F100 company is seeking an experienced copy editor/proofreader to provide content and review and final proofing of marketing communications in support of an internal communications group.

As their new Copywriter/Editor, you will:
-Be responsible for editing high volume of content for internal communication, ensuring the right voice is used and content is clear for multiple channels.
-Owns a select number of enterprise content “beats” and relationships with enterprise communicators
-Consults with communications professionals and other Internal Communications team members to interpret, translate, and apply company and business strategy and user needs into actionable, easy-to-understand content that honors the company’s standards for style, brand voice, and storytelling
-Conduct quality assurance reviews on all marketing communications project
-Demonstrate careful scrutiny and ensure correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and consistency, as well as Wells Fargo style, brand, and voice are met in all materials
-Strong relationship building skills with peers, partners and customers.

You’ll need:
-Superb writing and editing skills
-Requires 8+ years of communications experience planning, writing, and editing content for the internet or corporate intranets, specifically journalistic/reportorial material
-Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication or related field
-Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically track change features
-Acute attention to detail
-Familiar with AP and Chicago style guidelines and experience working with corporate style guides

We’d prefer:
-Financial services, news media or regulated industry experience like health care a plus
-Marketing experience
