Our client is one of the country's largest banks with locations throughout the US and the world. They have asked for our help in identifying a COPYWRITER.

Period: 04/01/2013 to 08/24/2014

Location: HUDSON ST, JERSEY CITY, NJ 07302
Pay rate: $31.25 (maximum)

Ideal Candidate: Candidate will have experience with Manage Solutions/Investments/Financial Services.

LOCATION: Jersey City = Main Office (must be on-site at least 2 times a week); however, manager is open to Talent also working from Hopewell, NJ office and NYC office.

Job Description:
An experienced business writer/editor, specializing in managed solutions/investment advisory products.

Primary job responsibilities include:
• Development of clear and concise communications that will be used internally with Financial Advisors and/or externally with clients
- Includes writing, proofreading and editing, primarily for email communications, but may also include other forms of communication/documents
• Interviewing subject matter experts within the line of business to glean necessary information to craft and refine communications
• Assisting in the development/preparation of the communication strategy

Position will report to Marketing, with direct connectivity to the line of business/product partners
Full-time, long-term contractor based in Jersey City, NJ

The individual will possess the following skills/requirements:
• A bachelor's degree in Journalism or Communications (or a related area) and at least 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area
• Ability to write from scratch or serve an editorial capacity
• Managed solutions/investment advisory product knowledge preferred
• Knowledge of how to relate to Financial Advisors and what resonates for effective e-mail communication
• The ability to integrate critical information from diverse areas
• The capacity to fully comprehend the investment organization's products, processes, and services, and present them effectively
• Able to work independently with little oversight, but work well with business partners to glean information and manage the development of communications
• Able to work quickly and efficiently to manage multiple projects from start to finish within tight time frames

Interview Process: One day; meeting with several managers (non-panel style)
