Copy Supervisor

We are looking for a great copy supervisor to work with an award winning agency!

You'll handle the following:
- Allocate work within the copy and editorial group
- Oversee appropriate projects, resource budgets, and selection/management of contractors
− produce a large and varied volume of work across a range of media for both patient/professional audiences
- take charge of resource planning (staff and freelance writers)
- act as key contributor
- work with strategic, creative and editorial teams as lead writer or providing up-front guidance and editing feedback.

Required Skills
• experience with health care/pharma marketing
• successful track record supervising/mentoring staff and freelance writers
• keen ability to interpret Project/Creative Briefs and lead the articulation of brand/key messages to meet the challenge
• proven ability to lead copy across all media with an emphasis web/interactive, print & video as well as long format copy.
• maintain consistency across space time continuum while turning on a dime due to changing market dynamics
• Serves as lead writer and content developer on a group of projects while simultaneously supervising writers on other initiatives.
• Leads reviewing of all copy documents before they are submitted to the client, from outlines and copy decks for client review as well as finished manuscripts for medical/legal/regulatory (MLR) review
• Provides conceptual creative thinking with content delivery expertise to ensure creative, brand and content integrity
• Understands and works well within the full production process for digital and traditional marketing deliverables; owns and communicates production and approval process for content and copy
• Provides leadership, training and mentoring for budding writers


Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience in content development and writing in a marketing or advertising agency
• Minimum 2 years' management experience
• Must have experience developing and executing campaigns for healthcare including pharmaceuticals, biotech companies, medical devices
• Experience in the preparation of materials for Medical/Legal Review
• Experience in a range of multi-channel marketing: website, ad media, brochures, emails, video, mobile, etc.
