Copy Director (Healthcare)

Looking for an experienced copywriter to manage both people and content on a daily basis, for a specific client in the Medical/Healthcare industry. Must have 10 years experience in copywriting, and background in Science or Healthcare field, as well as a STELLAR portfolio of work to back this up.

Contract to hire postion onsite in San Francisco!

Responsibilities
- Excellence in creative breadth and depth, uniqueness with astonishing flexibility of creative voice
- Master execution leader, generating high quality, and volume product
- Presentation skills, taking the lead with many client presentations
- Developing strategic insights around multiple categories, become an authority on how your audience will respond to certain kinds of information or visual stimulus.
- A major contributor to new business efforts

MUST HAVE:
- 10+ years of experience in copywriting, specifically in healthcare advertising, or marketing
- Proficient in Microsoft Word with a working knowledge of Keynote, Powerpoint, and PDF mark-ups
- Management experience
- A stellar portfolio that showcases strong conceptual and writing skills
- Responsibility for at least one brand’s materials over a significant period of time
- Oncology and/or high science experience is a plus
- Proven strategic insight
- Confident with new medias
- Excellent communicator, with all levels—coworkers and clients
- Professional polish, able to present work convincingly
- Thorough understanding the principles of medical copywriting and the FDA guidelines
