CONTRACT: 4+ MONTHS
LOCATION: SAN FRANCISCO
PAY: $19/HR (30 HRS/WEEK)

** A FORTUNE 500 FASHION COMPANY IS LOOKING FOR AN EXCEPTIONAL INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS AND EMPLOYEE EVENTS COORDINATOR! **

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Manage incoming requests for event and communications support of Corporate Affairs from groups like HR, brand teams and other business partners, to gauge relevance and alignment with the company priorities and provide counsel and support where necessary.
• Manage day-to-day responsibilities of planning and executing major employee events—quarterly town halls, Community Day, holiday party, executive and stakeholder events, leadership meetings and business updates for all-employees—reaching thousands of employees globally.
• Develop detailed event management plans for individual events including planning documents, show flows and manage day-of execution of events; lead or support event execution.
• Coordinate with key internal business partners and external vendors (production, telecommunications, rentals, catering) to ensure high-impact events supporting overall employee engagement efforts.
• Provide overall team administrative support. (e.g. setting up meetings, responding to employee emails, processing invoices, updating project plans, compiling toolkits).

MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in a corporate communications or public relations agency setting managing communications or events on behalf of a major consumer products company or global brand
• Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills
• Broad experience in all aspects of event planning and execution including vendor management and project planning
• Ability to manage work with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with business partners
• Strong knowledge of basic business principles
