Conversion Optimization Analyst

This role is located on-site in Pasadena. Possible off-site flexibility after ramp-up.

Summary:
Client’s Experience Design team is looking for a consumer-focused and analytical marketer to help drive omni-channel testing and conversion optimization for their Experience Design division. The Optimization Analyst will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution and analysis for online and in-product testing and optimization. The ideal candidate will be a great analytical thinker, results- and detail-oriented, and possesses the confidence and knowledge to drive for optimal business performance. Success in this role greatly depends on the ability to effectively collaborate with internal product managers, experience leads, regional stakeholders and across peer business units. The position reports into the Conversion Optimization and Usability Research Manager.

Responsibilities:
• Become a subject matter expert in conversion optimization using data to communicate learnings and recommendations to improve engagement and performance of digital properties
• Work with key stakeholders to understand and ensure business goals are being executed against
• Develop, analyze, and report on A/B and multivariate tests using Adobe Target and/or Adobe Experience Manager
• Leverage optimization tools and internal data to drive tests across multiple channels; and combine behavioral data with analytics to better understand how to improve revenue, conversion, retention and engagement
• Use analytics tools, such as Adobe Analytics or the like to segment, analyze, and report findings
• Work within a multidisciplinary team while collaborating with creative and development teams to drive optimal testing processes for an improved user experience and conversion growth
• Proactively identify gaps and opportunities to formulate new tactics and strategies
• Define best practices to communicate internally and externally and prove out and challenge existing best practices and assist in documenting proven findings, approaches, and strategies
• Contribute into and maintain testing and optimization roadmaps
• Evangelize the importance of data-driven decision-making within the org
• Proactive and collaborative in drawing from usability qualitative data and other sources to formulate test hypothesis and to use data to argue for improvements to the customer experience.
• Ability to communicate technical details to key stakeholders balanced with it being easily understood manner, making it relevant and actionable for key stakeholders.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree required along with practical business experience in conversion optimization testing and data analysis
• 5+ years of experience in interactive/digital marketing, testing and analytics working on consumer-facing, heavy transactional products within a large organization.
• 3+ years driving A/B and multivariate testing
• Excel in test design and ability to form hypotheses and draw meaningful business insights.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with ability to derive learnings and opportunities that maps to company goals
