Contract Marketing Project Manager (Digital)

One of our favorite financial service clients with a luxury brand sensibility is in need of a contract/freelance Marketing Project Manager (Digital) who work onsite for a 5-month ‘rewards’ project during the (leading up to and including) the holiday promotion period. This is a new role in a very exciting loyalty group.

This ‘reward’ project and program, launched this past spring, allows shoppers to earn rewards through a variety of purchases. Unlike other loyalty programs such as “frequent flyer” miles, this ‘reward’ program is not tied to a single company or credit card issuer. Users can join for free and do not have to be a card hold of this client. This is designed to broaden its reach of customers. Participating retailers are AT&T Mobility, Direct Energy, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, ExxonMobil, Hulu, Macy's, more. The customer can earn point a one retailer and use them at another. Joining is free.

As part of the long-term promotional strategy, there will be 3-4 larger promotions & grand prizes along with weekly sweepstakes supported by client marketing paid partners in digital channels including custom emails.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans
• Support Marketing Manager in working across business groups to ensure all tasks and milestones are met
• Partner Management – the candidate will assist in sourcing prizes and offers from partners
• Product – update content on website and app and make sure systems are working correctly. This is not a technical position but being familiar with web edits is very helpful
• Offer Marketing – be responsible for helping to source offers and implement segmentation strategy
• Sweepstakes Vendor Management – confirm operations, rules and prize fulfillment
• Agency Management– ensure microsite and content are built on time and to spec.
• Project Management - develop playbook for future campaigns which will include sample timelines, best practices, project plans, etc.

Qualifications:
• Experience as an Account Manager, Digital Producer or Product Manager essential
• Superior project management skills – this person will need to work independently to anticipate and solve problems
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Ability to work across above business functions to drive results in an extremely collaborative culture
• Maintain a vision for the end result while getting every detail perfect
• Must be able to turn on a dime – this is the first “tent-pole “promotion and there will be many surprises
• Comfortable using CMS tool, MS Project, Excel
