Contract Digital Producer

Vitamin T client in Washington, DC is currently on the lookout for a Digital Producer to direct the digital rebranding on one of their large accounts through May 2014. Position Overview:
Working in a creative and fast-paced environment, the Digital Producer will manage full-cycle digital projects such as social media research and outreach, Web 2.0 sites, online advertising, and email marketing. The Producer works with developers, designers and strategists to ensure that digital projects are properly managed and to ensure that the final product is consistent with the client’s vision, budget and timeline.

This is a role requiring a great deal of energy and ability to progress in areas such as client facing, internal communication and management across several disciplines: creative, development, client services and project management. You will need to be a problem solver with great attention to detail, work with little supervision, multi-task, be a quick learner and be passionate about digital strategy and social media.

Requirements:
- 4+ years of digital project management experience (ideally with an interactive/digital agency) demonstrating successful management of digital projects from beginning to completion
- Solid understanding of interactive/web projects and knowledge of web design and development technologies; including experience managing projects with social media components.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in high-pressure situations
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and quickly process information
- Experience with varying budget sizes, from large scale digital campaigns to creatively managing small one-off budgets
- Ability to create and manage long and short term timelines, with an understanding of prioritizing resources (trafficking)
- Comfortable leading client discussions
- Ability to delegate and supervise project tasks to other team members, including senior leadership
- Competent in scope writing, including hour estimates, team narratives and timeline projections
- Strong written and oral presentation skills; ability to be client facing
- Experience with MS project, Mobile, HTML5, Responsive design a plus
- Vendor management experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required

Desired Skills:
- Experience producing digital projects for the government; understanding or government regulations and requirements
