Content/Web Marketing Editor (Reports into Digital Marketing)

The Content/Web Marketing Editor will develop and implement digital content management strategies partnering closely with our Digital Marketing Relationship Managers, and must be well-versed in multi-channel marketing tools including content publishing system, YouTube, SEO and analytics system to assess effectiveness of strategy.

As a solutions-oriented role, the Editor will focus on managing client-focused digital content strategies that will emphasize clear call-to-actions, best practices in web writing, clarity in messaging, implementation of search engine optimization, innovative ideas to drive traffic, subscriptions and retention specifically for the Corporate sites with dedicated amount of support for our Americas Sites, as needed.

Responsibilities:

-Work with relationship managers to develop and measure key performance indicators, thereby ensuring campaigns are impactful, delivered on-time, accurately tracked, and continually improved upon; demonstrate ROI

-Drive content discoverability and engagement with deep customer insight, compelling strategies, innovating thinking and effective execution when managing content online paying particular attention to client preferences, industry best practices, online user behavior, and cross-platform content promotions and optimization across digital and social.

-Works with developers and the technology team to assess any technical challenges in displaying the content and identifying opportunities for efficiency and functionality improvements.

-Edits and posts content rapidly and with exceptional attention to detail and quality assurance. Works independently when required, but participates with the rest of the team in structuring content and crafting larger projects

Qualifications:

-The ideal candidate will also have previous experience with Web, video, social-media and E-mail metrics and be able to operate standard analytics programs such as Google Analytics and/or UNICA.

-Multi-tasking, speed-to-market, strong communication skills, efficient project manager and superb QA skills are required.

-Ability to works as part of a team that is accountable for educating content influencers and generators on best practices, industry trends and innovative digital content solutions across multiple platforms.

-General understanding of online advertising metrics, trafficking and reporting is preferred including SEO, SEM and PPC

-Knowledge of applications used in web development (Dreamweaver, TeamSite, Stellent, HTML)* Familiarity with journalistic norms, multimedia production and Web-friendly writing are required.

-Must be able to work on more successful ways of allocating QA time per project in order to work around project delays and/or push-backs

-Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment

-Experience in Financial Services industry is preferred
