Are you passionate about creating best in class content for a broad range of social media platforms? We have an opportunity to join the newly formed communications division of one of Sydney’s hottest little digital shops. Based in Surry Hills, you’ll be in the thick of the creative hub working alongside very talented digital experts on a few high profile clients.

We are looking for a strategic thinker, who is good with clients, passionate about writing and with great experience across community management. This role will offer you the chance to let your skills blossom under one of Sydney’s most talented Social Media & Content Strategists.

You will be responsible for the implementation of social media strategies to increase visibility, reach and engagement, and improve sentiment across the brands that you work on. Your job requirements, “sleeves rolled-up”, working hands-on to ensure that social media strategies the business creates are successfully delivered to client expectations and to measurable KPI’s.

The role:
It is a key role in the growth of the new communications offer and team. An exciting opportunity to skill up, develop your professional abilities and be instrumental in shaping our product and service offer.

• Implement client social media strategies to gather audience insights, monitor current online conversation, investigate existing social media strategies, evaluate competitor performance and participate/run creative brainstorms
• Deliver content, communications and campaign strategies in line with client objectives through the appropriate social media channels
• Manage clients’ social communities, including responding to queries & liaising with client consumer relations
• Manage Reporting, including KPI’s, benchmarking, audience feedback, monitoring engagement & response to content
• Manage social media advertising spend, set up, targeting, management/optimization and reporting
• Monitor trends in social media tools and applications and appropriately applying that knowledge to increase the use of such tools within the business. Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities
• Ensure integration with other appropriate teams and partners within and outside of the business
• Manage the agency social channels and drive marketing activities in conjunction with the broader team
