Our local digital and research company is looking for a marketing content writer to join their team! The ideal candidate will be a talented writer and editor who brings both marketing experience and working knowledge of the tech space.The content marketing manager responsible for the website will thus work closely with the analysts to produce high quality content, publicize it via the website, and develop programs on behalf of the agency’s clients. While we are ideally looking for someone temp to perm, full time and on-site for this company, they are open to anyone in the freelance and off-site space as well!

This is position has a lot of growth potential and, in addition to helping you grow your content marketing portfolio, will also give you the chance to work with a vibrant group of industry-expert researchers, established content marketing experts, and proven business leaders.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage, promote and track our online website, driving agency/company awareness and community growth. (All our wesbites are build on WordPress.) Manage the editorial calendar and contributors. Build relationships with thought leaders. Execute a promotional plan to build readership. Note: This site is an important part of the company’s strategy and you will own it!
• Strong interest in business and technology topics
• Copy edit and proofread content, providing feedback to analysts. Coach others around content creation and writing. Help manage the content creation process by keeping project tracking systems up to date and content secure and backed up at all times.
• Be a resident expert on content marketing, a go-to resource for analysts regarding the content they write.
• The ability to quickly write high-quality content requiring minimal edits. Writing skills should span content types: blog, whitepaper, infographic, and marketing copy.
Experience/Knowledge/Skills:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing, communications, journalism or related field
• Desire to work in a fast-paced professional environment that prides itself on creating high quality content
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities. Solid project management and a "get it done" attitude.
• An interest in complex research and analysis and an eye for creating interesting stories illustrated by data
• A hunger for learning and experience – this role is great for someone who wants to dig in and learn everything they can about their target audience, what's important to them, and what their needs are and turn that learning into results
• Ability to work independently but also ability and desire to work on a team – this role offers a good balance of both
• experience that includes proven marketing and writing abilities, and a portfolio that demonstrates this!
• Excellent writing, verbal communication skills, high level of detail orientation
• Significant experience with social media and blogging; WordPress experience a plus.
• Strong communication skills to both internal and external audiences.
