We are looking for a qualified part time ( 30 hours a week) Content Writer to join our team initially as a contractor with the potential to evolve into a full time position depending on fit and company needs.
The writer will be responsible for creating, improving and maintaining content to achieve our business goals. You will be able to produce all marketing content to ensure customer engagement, brand consistency and a positive reader experience. You understand how to effortlessly mix casual writing while staying professional. Your target audience- Millennials.
Content will include but is not limited to:
Blogs, assets, email, and website copy.
You are an experienced professional with demonstrable creative writing skills. As a Content manager, you should perform well under deadlines and be detail-oriented. If you are also an expert in content optimization and brand consistency, this is a plus for us.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets
Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style and layout
Create engaging content across multiple channels and asset types (e.g. website, email, blogs, social media posts, product videos, etc.)
Edit, proofread and improve posts
Develop and manage an editorial calendar according to overall marketing team needs
Ensure compliance with law (e.g. copyright and data protection)
Stay up-to- date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
Proven work experience as a Content Creator / Manager
Excellent writing skills in English
Hands on experience with MS Office and ( WordPress is a plus)
Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
Familiarity with social media
Attention to detail
Good organizational and time-management skills
BSc degree in Journalism, Marketing or relevant field
Experience in financial sector appreciated but not required
