Our client, a global software and services company, is looking for a Consumer/ Commercial Copywriter to create original copy to support relationship marketing efforts for a global brand. The ideal candidate will have strong promotional and copywriting skills, and be a stickler for meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities:
• Write and edit engaging, relevant, original online copy including banners, emails, landing pages, blogs, video, and general campaign deliverables
• Conform to established tone, style, and brand guidelines
• Collaborate with creative team and internal partners to develop strong, copywriting deliverables
• Attend kick off, team, and creative review meetings
• Work on multiple projects, both small and large, with various business owners
• Participate in strategic, creative brainstorming sessions
• Present creative work and articulate creative rationale
Required Qualifications
• 5 years of online copywriting experience in an advertising agency or corporate environment with tight timelines.
• Demand gen writing and relationship management experience is a must
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable presenting creative work/copy to both the creative team and project stakeholders
• Must be very good at managing your own time; able to prioritize multiple assignments and thrive under tight deadlines.
• Able to work effectively on a team, and have the ability to drive results across functional areas
• Strong attention to detail and timeliness
• Understanding of the capabilities and constraints of web technologies (content management systems, HTML, style sheets, etc.) as well as writing best practices for SEO
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office

Writes about general interest topics or draws upon specialized knowledge in a non-technical area to produce information online or in print. Skills: 2-3 years work related experience required. Demonstrated ability to write content in the designated area required. Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to work under deadline pressure. Familiarity with one or more standard style guides required. Must have the ability to write to the specified style guide/format. Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications or related area preferred.
