Content Writer & Producer

Our client is looking for a contract to hire Content Writer & Producer for their YouTube channel. This will require ramping up their current content, and writing original concepts for on-line spots and produce high quality promotions for events and brands for the client's YouTube channel.

Responsibilities/Duties:
- Assist Creative Director in creating new concepts and communicating with staff.
- Come up with concept, music, visual effects, animation, and graphic ideas for original campaigns and promos.
- Supervises and directs edits, voiceover sessions, executes music searches and determines appropriate cuts, as assigned
- Assists in the production of promo templates for promotional toolboxes and directs promotional shoots, as necessary.
- Remains informed of industry trends in desktop video production and on-line promotions.
- Research and recommend outside vendors, Production Companies, Designers, etc.

Minimum Requirements & Special Attributes:
- A minimum of 5+ years hands-on experience writing and producing on-air/web spots, or 5+ years in similar role at Ad Agency or outside Design/Production company.
- Clear knowledge of the relevant production processes, relevant tools and techniques.
- Proven track record as a Writer/Producer within TV/Web promotion industry.
- "Voice-of-the-Customer" mentality for understanding, communicating and marketing to external targets.
- Appreciation of the importance of audience focus.
- Ability to interpret marketing and programming strategies in order to best deliver to brief.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with a wide range of internal and external contacts.
