Content Strategist/Copywriter

This is a remote role so is open to candidates throughout the U.S.

The Content Writer will create compelling content for lead generation, targeting the company’s primary market – commercial and public sector organizations seeking to implement health and wellness programs for their employees. The Content Writer will engage proactively in internal networking to build relationships with SMEs and be assertive about navigating the organization for content ideas. The Content Writer will need to be able to develop a solid understanding of our offerings, the profiles of our audiences, and deliver value for all projects.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

➢ Work within scope to develop new content based on business goals, user needs, content requirements, and content sources.

➢ Translate business goals into meaningful content.

➢ Write outlines, adhere to production schedules, submit material for review cycles, and assist with post-launch metrics measurement.

➢ Deliver on medium to heavy volume of projects at a single time, remaining focused to deliver on deadlines.

➢ Repurpose existing (or legacy) content with fresh angles.

➢ Participate in content planning process quarterly.

➢ Work effectively as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.

PROBLEM SOLVING/DECISION MAKING

➢ The ideal candidate should be able to think like a journalist and have the ability to come up with new story ideas and creative angles to keep content fresh and appealing to audiences.

ACCOUNTABILITY/SCOPE/DIMENSIONS

➢ Content and deliverables will be created to address the needs and concerns of human resources and benefits executives and managers − the primary decision makers regarding wellness programs in their organizations.

➢ The content to be created will be primarily for digital mediums. This includes deliverables such as blogs, white papers, data sheets, brochures, interactive documents, web pages, and landing pages.

➢ Work closely with marketing and sales to translate ideas and concepts into content that supports our business goals.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

➢ At least four to eight years of experience executing content strategy for sales enablement in a B2B environment.

➢ Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, English, Journalism, Media Studies, or related field.

➢ Portfolio required.

➢ Proven skill handling multiple content projects, priorities, and workload.

➢ Understanding of sales organization values.
➢ Self-motivated, organized, and functions well without too much guidance.


TECHNICAL SKILLS

➢Experience with online content management tools and SEO.

➢Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS

➢Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
