Our client, Nest, is looking for a content strategist to join our creative team. As part of the writing team, you’ll shape customer experiences by planning, developing and managing content — written, spoken or otherwise — for the Nest ecosystem. The best candidate will be part copywriter, part UX strategist and they must enjoy working through complex and robust messaging systems.

This is a long term contract engagement onsite in Palo Alto, CA.

The work:

  • Take large and varied communications across multiple channels and unify them through clear documentation that is easy to find, reference, and maintain.
  • Work closely with designers, engineers and product managers to understand their copy needs.
  • Establish and communicate rules and guidelines for a growing content system.
  • Participate in crafting language standards and conventions for the Nest app and products

    Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in content strategy, UX writing or project/program management experience.
  • Experience working closely with design and engineering teams in a content strategy, project management, program management or similar role.
