As a content strategist for a top technology company, you will work with creative leadership to set design standards and drive the creation of compelling designs for websites, apps, mobile, and experiences.
You will work collaboratively with other designers, art directors, producers, and photographers.
You are an individual with a well-rounded design and production experience.
Great attention to detail, and a strong portfolio in content strategy roles in technology companies and/or agencies.

The content strategist for this brand will develop product experiences by creating useful, meaningful text that helps users navigate and enjoy products and destinations.
You’ll work with Creative, Marketing, UX, Product Management, and Engineering teams to maintain a consistent, authentic voice across products, driving intentional communication with every word.
You’ll use empathy, logical reasoning, and data to strengthen content choices, and you’ll pursue a deep understanding of your products in order to find the right words.
You’ll define guidelines and develop tools to help your cross-functional team members make good content choices, too.

We need a content strategist who can thrive in a fast-paced and often unpredictable environment.
In this role you'll be working closely with the partnering teams to guide the effective deployment of the content and tools we have at our disposal to remind the world what they love about this company.

Responsibilities:
Create strategic narratives to drive cohesion between multiple websites and related products
Develop communications across large project areas, often global in scope
Synthesize feedback from multiple sources and iterate rapidly on mockups
Fulfill several project requests simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
Drive projects from start to finish, collaborating with Marketing, Engineering, Program Managers, and Creative team members
Define core UX flow, in partnership with IA and Design leads, to inform UI text
Develop documentation to ensure copy and content hand off to partner teams, including Legal, Localization, and CMS team
Create guidelines and inspire teams to produce best-in-class content, including defining copy tone & voice style
Deliver high-quality content for user experiences that range across multiple devices and regions
Implement working processes for copy style guides as well as methods for efficiency and communication

Qualifications:
BA/BS with strong academic record - English, Journalism, or HCI degree preferred
7+ years of online editing, content creation, and/or content strategy experience, preferable with a portion of that experience in an agency or consulting environment
Product content writing for e-commerce or technology brand preferred
Strong command of the English language; an eye for details, meticulous grammar, and proofreading skills
Strong project management skills to manage multiple workstreams on multiple products
Excellent business acumen, written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills — with experience interacting with senior-level executives
Experience with editorial processes, such as style guidelines and content management systems
Knowledge of defining project schedules, scoping work, and managing stakeholders
Ability to define content metrics and communicate according to well-reasoned analysis
Experience working in agile product development environments; able to adapt quickly and create solutions independently or collaboratively
