To realize the promise of Content Marketing—delivering valuable information to your audience at the right time—you must have highly informed strategic thinking, outstanding creative implementation, and the right technology underpinnings. That technology includes systems for CRM, CMS/ECM, marketing automation, SEO, social monitoring, web analytics and more. We’re looking for a Content Strategist for our client who is located in the heart of downtown Raleigh. This person will be responsible for helping clients get the most from their content by implementing and optimizing “systems of engagement” – the platforms that allow for the best organization, use and measurement of content efficacy for marketers within their clients' organization. In this position, you will guide the team on measurement strategies and execution, and glean insight from data to enhance campaigns once they are in motion. You will also advise clients on what content is best to make based on social and web analytics, market trends and VOC feedback.

Daily Responsibilities: >Make systems recommendations, implement technology and processes to enable rapid adoption and management of new content programs. >Evaluate and propose how best to leverage systems of engagement — from CRM to marketing automation to ECM — to meet clients' evolving marketing requirements. >Design and implement technology solutions using industry standard best practices. >Develop and implement content processes and guidelines (including scalable content models, messaging strategies, metadata schema, and taxonomies). >Develop KPIs and analytic frameworks to assess the performance of content.
Conduct extensive content inventories and audits, gap analyses, competitive audits, and secondary research to provide recommendations on content standards, needed improvements, and content gaps. >Define content standards to support key business objectives and develop strategies for achieving those standards. >Use data from stakeholders, customers and market research to evaluate content effectiveness. >Partner with other Content and UX Strategists to understand who our audience is, what content they require, and how they consume content across multiple platforms. >Drive the discovery of industry trends and emerging best practices.

Candidate Requirements: >Proficiency implementing, operating and optimizing: – CRM: SalesForce, NetSuite, Etc. >Marketing Automation: Marketo, Eloqua, Hubspot, Etc. >CMS/ECM: Adobe Experience Manager, Drupal, SiteCore, Etc. >DAM/Collaboration Tools: Widen, Kapost, Percolate, Etc. > Social Analytics: Sysomos, Simply Measured, Etc.
