We are currently looking for a Content Strategist with a "technical" or "digital" background for a client in North Dallas in the Westlake area.

This groups Enterprise Cloud Computing’s (ECC) mission is to enable application development to go faster. Modern computing paradigms, cloud computing and open source software offer tremendous potential to accelerate development and drive down costs. The new organization brings together Architecture, Infrastructure, Development Tools, Security, Operations and Program Office functions to work together in agile, delivery-oriented teams to build/configure/sustain internal and external cloud platforms with development ecosystems.

Role Summary: 
The Content Strategist to join Enterprise Cloud Computing (ECC) in Westlake, TX. The Content Strategist will develop clear and consistent content that supports the adoption of cloud technology and processes. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and organization of content via multiple channels as well as the overall content strategy. A successful candidate will be comfortable working with the complexities of cloud technology, software development and excel at collaborating with multiple teams across five regions.

The Expertise We’re Looking for: 

  • Close collaboration and alignment with the developer experience tribe, along with other ECC tribes, functions, and centers of excellence to support program goals 
  • Through learnings and research, provide content strategy recommendations based on content inventories, analytics, competitive analysis, and user testing 
  • Design workflows for publication and the content lifecycle process to keep content keep useful, relevant, and current 
  • Discover content requirements for through strategic analysis, content inventories, or directly from stakeholders 
  • Define and establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of content and content lifecycle improvements 
  • Write/produce a variety of content including but not limited to: onboarding materials, product announcements, instructions, and interface copy 
  • Organize content based on user needs/context for “just-in-time” learning 
  • Develop an ECC style guide that will help others independently contribute quality content through a variety of channels 
  • Participate in various working teams and strategic projects designed to increase engagement and awareness for associates across the enterprise

The Skills You Bring: 

  • Prior experience as a content strategist/producer or directly related experience 
  • Experience with conversion metrics and analytics 
  • Successful experiences working with teams to deliver complex programs 
  • Command of the content lifecycle, from work intake to maintenance/removal 
  • Experience dealing with technical subject matter strongly preferred, cloud computing experience or software development lifecycle knowledge a plus 
  • Communications skills with the ability to tailor messages for target audiences
