An Irvine-based, winning Advertising agency is looking for a Copywriter who has experience and expertise writing sales content. We're looking for someone who can hop into the mind of the client and produce content that creates ROI and conversion of new users, new consumers, or new engagement based on the goal of the project at hand. The ideal candidate will have experience working directly with the sales and marketing team as well as the creative team and juggle multiple projects simultaneously. This position requires an online portfolio of work showing examples of measurable impact!
Hours: 40 hours/week; Contract
Qualifications: 3-5 years experience working in an agency or fast paced environment as content strategist, copywriter or related position
Deep familiarity with user-centered content principles - Content that will drive conversions
Superb communication skills: this means the candidate will be able to articulate clearly — verbally (in large group settings as well as one-on-one) and in writing — the primacy of the user-centered design as well as the specific contribution of the content efforts
Experience creating content strategies and writing copy for public-facing websites
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word and comfort with PowerPoint
Desired but not required: Experience working in an advertising agency or the pharmaceutical or healthcare industries.
