(This is not a writer role. It is a digital content strategist for desktop and mobile. Ex. site audits, gap analysis, taxonomy, aligning content to business goals.)

In this full-time, 12-month contract with potential for extension, your understanding of content best practices and re-use, along with your passion for digital media and demonstrated strategic judgment, will be assets as you collaborate with UX, IA, and CMS team members in a role that’s both strategic and hands-on.
As an integral member of the Digital Experience Center (DEC) content strategy team, you’ll get up to speed quickly on existing digital and brand strategy, user research, and analytics. Aware that business goals and user needs are critical drivers for effective decisions, you’ll apply your knowledge of content usability to deliver thoughtful solutions for our internal stakeholders.
Define content needs for best-in-class responsive digital properties
Contribute to content strategy, content management, and migration planning
• Define and gather content requirements
• Identify gaps and locate potential content sources
• Create artifacts across the content life cycle as needed
Contribute to taxonomies and metadata schema (frameworks for grouping and tagging content)
Establish naming conventions and nomenclature consistent with UX and brand strategies
Contribute to creating a content pattern library that aligns with UX patterns and brand guidelines
Support distributed publishing and content re-use by effectively socializing guidelines for producing content
Guide stakeholders in developing new content and optimizing (enhance/edit/reformat) legacy content
Oversee content development, ensuring that guidelines and SEO best practices are followed
Conduct discovery including interviews, content audits, and analyses
Provide necessary documentation to enable the content track for complex migrations
Self-motivated, organized, and able to function well without externally imposed structure
Works effectively as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team
Proven skill managing content projects, priorities, and workload
High tolerance for ambiguity matched by a deep passion for organizing it
Substantial experience creating interactive content for digital media
Ability to evangelize and socialize content standards and processes to stakeholders
Degree in a related field, or equivalent professional training and equivalent experience
Familiarity with Web technologies and content management systems
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); familiarity with SEO best practices
These qualifications would be a plus:
Experience developing training materials and leading training sessions
