Content Strategist / Digital Copywriter

One of our clients is looking for a full time Copywriter / Content Editor to join our team to manage all the content for the various websites that the firm maintains and plans to develop. The position is in their tech centric NYC office where you’ll be working closely with the creative, development, and full stack marketing team to support your initiatives.

They are the marketing team of one of the largest law firms.

Requirements:
- Candidate will be responsible to develop high quality content at scale, and to manage other writers' content for style, engagement, ethics, and accuracy.
- You will work closely with their digital marketing team to plan our content calendar and coordinate with the firm's staff on prioritizing various content projects.
- Writers with a background in developing high quality and engaging web content with an eye towards conversion rate and search engine optimization is a plus.

Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years as an agency and/or in-house copywriter
- A smart, sophisticated and diverse portfolio of copy samples.
- Experience writing for both consumer and B2B audiences.
- Ability to distill technical content into simple and easy-to-understand messaging.
- Examples of working collaboratively to turn high-level concepts into strategic copy.
- Experience managing multiple projects at once, resolving competing priorities, working swiftly under pressure and meeting project deadlines.
- A die-hard work ethic and killer sense of humor.
- Proficiency in Mac OS and Microsoft Office.
- Error-free writing and proofreading skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, journalism, advertising or related field.
