Writing support articles and white papers and installation guides at this top tech company isn't simply technical writing. It's not just answering questions. It's a unique blend of marketing writing,
technical writing and project management. It's also incredibly vital to the company and is treated as such.

You will be writing new support knowledge base articles and editing and updating existing ones. You'll work cross-functionally to gather the information needed to explain different products and features, writing the required articles, and editing until everything's approved. Writing support articles and white papers and installation guides at this client isn't simply technical writing. It's not just answering questions. It's a unique blend of marketing writing, technical writing and project management. It's also incredibly vital to the company and is treated as such.

Responsibilities:
- Work with product marketing, engineering and the support team to understand and translate product features and processes for customers.
- Write instructions for how to use the product, but also explain why things work the way we do and why we think it's important.
- Help track down necessary information across the organization and work with product, engineering and marketing to ensure content is right.
- Fight for the customer - make sure we don't complicate things or confuse them.
- Ensure all our communications are simple, human and clear.

Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree - English, Journalism, any field that would require long-form writing and research
- 3-5+ years experience.
- At least three years experience writing copy that's simple to understand and delightful to read.
- Able to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams of many different disciplines.
- Proven experience authoring a number of documents across various projects.
- Must have B2C focused writing samples.
- Integrating comments/feedback from reviewers from all departments

Preferred qualifications:
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where the product is constantly evolving.
-Ability to document interactions and processes with a keen attention to detail.
-HTML and Salesforce experience would be welcome too, but not a top line item.
-If a candidate has more advanced HTML experience. They could help with the publishing, which must be done manually.
