Content Producer

The Content Producer’s key role is to develop, manage and execute social content, working closely with the Community Manager and our identified digital and creative agencies. They are responsible for developing social content strategies, managing the commissioning and curating of social content, and generating innovative ideas to attract new social audiences and strengthen our clients reputation. They're looking for a balance of writing skills – preferably in the short form, along with the ability to get produce other content, such as video from start to finish.

Reporting into the Head of Social Media & Content, this is an exciting opportunity for an individual with significant experience in copywriting or content production, preferably within an insurance or financial services environment, to use their passion and flair for communicating via social, to incite change in this industry-leading organisation.

The key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
• Liaising with creative and digital agencies to develop, manage and execute short and long-form content for a variety of social channels, such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn
• Managing the commissioning and curating of social content, including producing, presenting, editing and publishing video
• Generating innovative ideas to attract new social audiences and strengthen our clients reputation.
• Developing social media content plans and strategies
• Ensuring content is engaging, tailored for specific audiences and aligned with QBE's tone of voice
• Creating high-quality content, in line with our clients communication and social strategies
• Working with the business on integrated marketing campaigns and contributing to shared content calendars

The key skills required for this role include:
• Degree educated within Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a similar discipline
• Keen interest and knowledge of the insurance/financial services industry
• Significant experience in copywriting/content producing roles with demonstrated ability to write and edit compelling content for a wide range of audiences
• Experience communicating information and ideas to a wide range of audiences, including digital, through written, pictorial and interactive/video digital formats.
• Ability to leverage content across a range of social media platforms and amplify across other channels
• Solid understanding of a range of social media platforms and their relevance to participants
• Track record of developing creative and successful social concepts that meet business needs
• Working within brand and written style guidelines to ensure social channels meet those standards
• The ability to translate complex or technical information to a range of stakeholders and audiences
• Experience operating in high traffic environments where speed to market is key
• Creativity with strong attention to detail and a keen eye for producing professional quality work
• Ability to prioritise work to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams, as a key team player and autonomously
• A customer service focused and commercial mindset
