Content Operations Specialist

Our client, one of the major consumer electronics companies in the Bay Area, is looking for a recent grad/junior-level candidate who is passionate about digital media. This is a long-term contract, 1 year, potentially longer.

The Content Operations Specialist manages daily deliveries of video content, troubleshoots encoding issues and supports in the quality control process. He/She will live and breathe internet video while working with content partners to ensure timely publication of content.

Background and Experience:
Experience with digital media (photo, music, or video) preferred
Passion for film/TV/Web video
Understanding of digital platforms such as iTunes, Netflix, YouTube
Strong organizational and communication skills
Exceptional customer relationship skills
Highly computer literate with ability to quickly learn new software.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Good knowledge of MS Office environment
Candidate must be a self-starter and be able to prioritize work efforts and deliver results on schedule.

Skills:
Validate accuracy of metadata
Publish content to digital platform
Data entry in content management systems
Maintain content calendar
Suggest process improvements
Communicate errors to internal and external teams
Participate in discussions with content providers
Work with content QA team to identify and resolve issues
Coordinate with editorial teams to ensure all priorities are met

Education:
A recent college graduate or someone 1-3 years in the workforce.
