Large Media and Entertainment company in El Segundo is seeking a Content Operations Coordinator to join their team. This is a temporary opportunity slated to go through the end of the year and could extend. At a high level, the role will provide general support to the Content VP's, program and manage content in the Admin Console for all live/upcoming regions, and report content status to the Content VP's throughout the content life cycle. 


  • Programming content is a manual, time-consuming task; episodes are programmed individually 
  • We are in the process of ingesting a significant amount of new content so this will add to the existing programming backlog 
  • We will be creating a content refresh schedule and need to program content accordingly on a regular basis 
  • We will need to program content separately for the Philippines, Singapore, and UK--this essentially triples our programming effort 

The Role 
The Content Coordinator for Development and Operations has the critical function of ensuring smooth and timely workflow and coordination of assets and processes for the Network's Kids content team. The Coordinator’s responsibilities include: allocating rights and entering, maintaining, and disseminating data and key information from internal and external sources. This role ensures timely entry, synthesis,and disbursement of information so that development, programming and operational teams receive essential information.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for HIVE-related input and updates
  • ​Submit acquisition deal memos, information, and budget requests from partners
  • ​Create repacks as needed
  • ​Maintain Screening Rooms
  • ​Grant rights in systems, maintain tracking document, contact US team for rights questions/issues
  • ​Follow up with regions to keep informed, and work with operations to solve issues
  • ​Submit research inquiries and compile feedback as needed
  • ​Missing Descriptions -enter the series and episodic synopsis into Hive
  • ​Act as a point of contact for BLA and operations
  • ​Attend weekly BLA calls/meetings
  • ​Assist with special projects as needed
  • ​Asset and delivery tracking
  • ​Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years in entertainment, media or related environment –kids experience a plus
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Adaptable, capable of wearing many hats and multi-tasking a must
  • ​Highly organized with attention to detail
  • ​Time management, prioritization, speed and accuracy are of the essence. Knowing how much time to spend on a task is key. 
  • Comfortable working in different database systems handling high volumes of data processing
  • ​Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • ​Must have the legal right to work in the United States
