Content Marketing Writer (Part-time)

Aquent's client is looking for a part-time Content Marketing Writer for their downtown Milwaukee location.
The Content Marketing Writer is a skilled writer who creates compelling content for a variety of consumer communications across a variety of print and digital platforms (email, web, social, search).
The Content Marketing Writer will research, write, review and edit marketing materials as well as work with subject matter experts, compliance and legal to ensure accuracy. This role will work collaboratively with staff from across the marketing department and the company to promote their goals and messages while maintaining and aligning with corporate message and image.
The Content Marketing Writer will help drive growth primarily through consumer response and engagement, secondarily through SEO results
This position requires exceptional writing and editing skills, proven project and time management abilities and an understanding of digital marketing strategy and tactics. Knowledge and experience in financial services industry is preferred.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for writing compelling emails, articles, web pages, social campaigns to engage consumers and drive traffic.
• Research, write, edit and proof all levels of copy included headlines and body copy, for online, offline, external and internal needs.
• Conduct research for new keywords and use to write or edit copy that increases the search engine traffic for their websites.
• Support creation and implementation of social media programs that ensure appropriate messaging is executed online, to support corporate goals, incorporating Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube.
Qualifications:
• Exceptional writing abilities (samples required)
• Works with sense of urgency
• Prior creation of customer email and digital messages
• Passionate about marketing communications and the customer
• Ability to translate biz strategies into customer-centric messages
• Exceptional project management/organizational skills
• Acute attention to details
• Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Working knowledge of Content Management Systems with the ability to update copy on existing.
• Knowledge and experience in financial services industry is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of experience in writing customer/marketing communications.
