Job Summary:

The Specialist in the Client Marketing Team will help manage the creation and delivery of a Content Marketing campaign across the UK business, reporting into a Manager. This focus of this role is a new and evolving role that is being carefully tracked by the business. The Specialist will be a skilled multi-tasker, pro-active in approach and at ease working within a busy and fast-paced environment.

The Client Marketing team sits within the UK Marketing & Communications Team and is focused on delivering strategic, bespoke client relationship plans and support for the UK’s key clients – a combination of end-to-end marketing that uses the very best of marketing assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside Manager to develop and deliver the digital content marketing campaign and manage the campaign microsite
• Assist Manager in creating, editing and managing content, requiring strong writing and editorial skills
• Ability to work professionally with a complex network of internal stakeholders
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders ensure a disciplined follow-up programme is executed to ensure content opportunities are maximised, measured and recorded.
• Help to create and deliver targeted communications to showcase best practice and ensure support for the programme.
• Assist in the delivery of online partner campaigns. Solid online skills and experience with digital advertising are extremely beneficial.
• On-going coordinating of social media programme, liaison with social media channel owners to deliver tactical campaigns and evaluate their effectiveness
• Ensure that all programmes are evaluated based on agreed metrics and ensure regular reporting of programme and progress against metrics to Senior Management.
• Manage the microsite CMS with regular content upload.
• Ensure Programme Owner/Management are kept appraised of progress against budgets and time-lines, and escalate to them any potential budget, time over-runs (or under-runs) and significant issues.
• Work with external stakeholders such as suppliers and creative agencies as required.
• Continue to develop marketing communications skills, attending training as directed by career counsellor.


Reports to: UK Manager, Client Marketing.

External Relationships: Vendors, suppliers, agencies, business schools, organisations and other third parties

Internal Relationships: Marketing teams, UK MD’s, London Innovationteam


Education: Bachelor’s degree, university degree or equivalent

Work Experience: Solid experience in marketing and creation of content. Solid exposure to digital marketing and knowledge of social and content marketing. Experience of working and reporting to senior stakeholders.

Work Requirements: Minimal travel depending on geographical span

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
• Deep understanding of business content and how to apply to business issues and problems – should have strong writing, editorial and creative skills.
• Experience of most elements of relationship marketing and communications, in particular content and digital marketing, social media and internal marketing
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to juggle multiple priority projects simultaneously
• Strong project management skills, organizational skills and attention to detail
• Passion for content, and interest in content marketing
• Some experience of supervising support staff, contractors and agencies
• Understanding and ability to apply marketing concepts, branding and message development skills.
• Knowledge of CRM systems and how to maximise usage.
• Relationship building skills and experience of managing complex multiple stakeholders.
• Developing negotiation, mediation and conflict management skills to resolve complex issues.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to deliver well-executed deliverables in support of our client's business strategy.
