Content Marketing Strategist

Minimum Qualifications: 
BA in Television, Film, Communications, Publishing, Business or similar preferred. 
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in television/music/entertainment field, preferably in a business affairs, rights & clearances, or licensing capacity. 

Preferred Qualifications: 
Comprehensive understanding of content licensing rights with a proven track record in licensing content. 
Working knowledge of legal concepts related to content licensing for all types of media platforms and ability to understand agreements at a high level. 
Strong relationship management, planning, negotiation, communication skills 
Strong project management skills: Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. ​Proven excellence in driving initiatives forward from strategy to execution with demonstrated ability to be innovative and suggest changes or improvements as needed. 
Motivated, organized, self-starter who can anticipate needs and create efficient and effective processes in addition to reacting effectively and professionally to situations that require quick response or turnaround. 
Ability to handle a high volume of license requests with accurate execution and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changes in requests. 
Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills with a high attention to detail. 
Strong interpersonal skills (including the ability to effectively interact with a range of personalities and styles to establish effective relationships at all levels of the organization) 
Familiarity with Google Docs, Sheets, Presentations and Gmail. 


Responsibilities: 
-Be the central point of contact for all content licensing requests: 
-Maintain the content license intake request form and make updates (based on feedback) as needed 
-Ensure requests are forwarded to the agency and filter top partner content needs to Business Development team and other internal counterparts, as needed. 
-Create a process to guide internal stakeholders’ requests during larger launch moments 
-Serve as POC for digital asset resource library 
-Liaise with cross-functional partners, including Product Marketing and Legal to ensure content clearance SOWs are done with consideration to identified time restrictions, territories, cost parameters, etc. and ensure terms agreed to concur with company policy. Propose alternative solutions should issues arise during process. 
-Manage and update the content licensing database track all assigned programs/projects and ensure that licenses are executed and paid in a timely manner. 
Work with agency to provide a quarterly summary / report on new content licenses, their start and end dates, spend and details on license granted (e.g. type of content, territories, etc). 
-Keep teams informed of expiring content licensing agreements. 
-Manage licensed content budget and process approval for licensing of confirmed uses.
