This top fortune 500 company located in Mountain View, Ca (that specializes in tax software), is looking for a Content Marketing Manager to join their small business team. 6 month contract Mountain View, Ca. Duties Include:
1. Develop content strategies and plans that are aligned to target roles and the buyer’s journey
2. Be proactive and innovative in reaching target audiences in new ways
3. Develop working knowledge of key buyer and influencer roles, their pain points, and how they go about discovering and learning ways to solve their problems
4. Be data driven, learning where IT leaders get information, what media they prefer, who they trust and how they prefer to consume the information
5. Define the client journey that delivers the right content at the right time in the right way through digital, social, traditional, and event marketing
6. Work with campaign marketing managers to assess existing assets and offers and identify gaps and develop plans to create content that fills the gaps
7. Create quality marketing assets, working with agency teams and industry analysts to design projects that deliver exciting new content that emphasizes solution capabilities
8. Evangelize the content across various digital, social and traditional channels and communities
9. Leverage our program execution and influence in-country marketing teams to drive exposure *Continually optimize the narratives, assets and offers to drive maximum engagement and results and design new assets
10. Establish collaborative process with Performance Marketing to ensure closed-loop feedback on metrics and explore new venues and formats to reach new buyers and influencers.
11. Adjust plans and priorities as appropriate based on performance metrics The successful candidate will think like a creator and act like a publisher and have the ability to manage cross-brand editorial calendars and deliver content and assets in an agile fashion. Success will require new, innovative thinking and creative approaches to elevating and energizing the discussion, focused on a buyer centric approach, given competitive threats and strategic business opportunities among new buyers, new markets and new channels.
