Content Marketing Manager

A top payment technology company is seeking a Sr. Manager - Content Marketing to join their Innovation Marketing team in San Francisco.

Their purpose is demonstrate that they are the innovation leader in payments through compelling content that results in lead generation and new business opportunities for their innovative products and services. Their hiring a talented marketer who specializes in B2B product branding and direct response copywriting/editing. This person will be responsible for crafting messages for Web, Digital, and Print-based mediums spanning new product launches, event activations, and partner announcements.

Responsibilities / Essential Duties:
• Development of marketing content strategy and calendar
• Development of product branding and messaging strategy
• Creating and editing content across
• websites
• Presentations and Webinars
• Blog Posts
• Social media posts/ads
• Emails
• Landing Pages
• Case Studies
• Infographics
• Feature Sheets
• Video Scripts
• Managing and organizing creative development and delivery of marketing materials across multiple teams and agencies
• Implement process to assess and improve performance of marketing deliverables (especially for digital marketing assets on their .com site, social channels, and email).

Secondary Duties:
• Organizing/maintaining deadlines/communicating if more time or information is required to complete projects
• Researching/fact checking
• Collaborating with designers/marketing managers/stakeholders

Superb Communicator:
• Able to write clearly, conversationally, and persuasively
• Excellent proofreading and editing skills
• Flexible, but able to maintain consistent copy style (70% AP style/30% in-house style)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office XP Suite and Adobe design products

• Builds positive and collaborative relationships across the organization
• Proactively confirms desired outcomes with stakeholder(s) before beginning projects
• Conceptualizes with designers

Avid Researcher:
• Target financial, technology, and retail audiences and the competition
• Emerging B2B business trends and marketing best practices (Cloud, security, mobile)

Highly Organized:
• Able to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Able to work with external agencies and internally as directed
• Strong project management skills

Education / Previous Experience:
• Master’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or related field
• 5+ years of content marketing and copywriting experience for technology or financial oriented products
• 3+ years of experience developing B2B marketing content for the financial, technology, and / or retail industries
• 3+ years of experience working in an agency or other creative environment
• Current portfolio of work will be required
