Long term contract role with Fortune 500 Social Media company!

Project Description: We’re seeking a content marketing professional to develop and execute a content ­driven program for an exciting new product. This project will focus heavily on content marketing strategies and tactics for both SMB and consumer audiences, and help drive demand generation and search engine optimization goals for all segments.

Responsibilities:
● Conceive and execute on a wide variety of content marketing campaigns to help boost key demand generation metrics, as well as content/keyword performance and position among search engines.
● Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross­ divisional partners on campaign strategies, including goal setting, audience research, analysis and alignment.
● Lead the content production process for all content types (e.g., blog posts, infographics, social media updates, eBooks). This process includes content ideation, project managing internal/external partners, quality control and approvals, and owning the overall excellence of the final product.
● Manage the day­ to ­day content publishing process and editorial calendar. This includes configuring and distributing content on internal LinkedIn content management systems as well as across major social media profiles/networks.
● Collaborate with the business groups and partners on a variety of content promotions ranging from intra­net work promotions, paid advertising and events, to media relations and influencer outreach, to third ­party advertising via paid social media, search and sponsored content opportunities.
● Lead pre and post campaign analysis, performance tracking and reporting to determine progress against goals and strategy alignment.

Required Skills:
● BA degree
● 8+ years marketing experience, emphasis on content marketing programs
● Strong understanding of search engine optimization guidelines/strategies/practices
● Proven experience managing and publishing content across social media networks
● Excellent project management skills
● Excellent writing and copy­editing skills
● Strong analytical skills and a proven record of measuring/analyzing results
● Comfortable defining and providing art direction
● Quick learner who can solve problems independently

Preferred Skills:
● Experience working with agencies
● Experience with the Adobe CQ5 and Spredfast platforms
● Strong portfolio with links/examples of previous content­driven projects
