Are you an experienced content marketing professional interested in taking a small company to the next level? If revamping an existing content marketing strategy and being measured against specific customer acquisition targets sounds exciting, then continue reading.

Our Content Marketing Manager will come with a proven track record of optimizing content channels, including emails, assets online and offline, website content, and partner networks, and have Big Ideas on new ways to engage prospects. With an existing follower base in the hundreds of thousands, conversion is the immediate goal, with expansion next on the list.

We are a small company and it is important to have a balanced approach between planning and getting things done. This is a hands­on role. Your work is critical in meeting our aggressive growth targets and the right candidate is jazzed by the challenge. Although optimization is the initial opportunity, we’re looking for an innovative thinker who wants to implement new ways of connecting our target audience with meaningful materials. This role reports to the VP of Marketing and will work closely with the CEO/Founder.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Working with a small team of marketing professionals and the company Founder/CEO to build out a content marketing plan, which includes vehicle optimization, tactics for meeting growth targets, and identifies methods for increasing conversion.

Take ownership of the content funnel and syndication plans, ensuring every asset developed reaches the farthest corners with maximum opportunity for conversion.

Write copy for a variety of assets, focused on the company and our product, including emails, sales collateral, website pages etc. You will coordinate and work with an existing copywriter who is focused on delivering PM­specific materials.

Deliver a content scorecard that traces the correlation between vehicle and signups, and craft a story of the way visitors interact with our materials through to utilizing our software.

You will be ruthlessly focused on conversion to signup.

Your Profile and Qualifications:
8+ years of marketing experience, any roles
3+ years of content marketing experience, with direct ownership of content strategy and production
1+ year working with SaaS­ based solutions
Track record of delivering results to the bottom ­line: it’s not about a marketing activity scorecard, it’s about revenue and customers
Ability to build out an effective approach for engaging prospects through content, with proof of connecting efforts to the bottom line
Experiences working across a breadth of asset types e.g. white papers, blogs, emails, video, podcasts, and being responsible for a variety of channels i.e. email, website, partner network, mobile devices
Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite of tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Hands­-on experiences with Wordpress and email management tools (Constant Contact preferred)
Passion, Integrity, and Energy
Project Management background considered an asset e.g PMP, ITIL
