Content Marketing Manager

A tech company in SF is searching for a Content Marketing Manager to work with their rapidly growing San Francisco office to brainstorm, outline, and write/edit vast amounts of high quality content: website, social media, press releases, white papers, etc. The ideal candidate will be an excellent writer and communicator, and have sharp business instincts and knowledge about HR and social media.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Work closely with current marketing team to come up with new content ideas to explore and turn into copy
-Hiring, testing and managing a small army of freelance journalists and copywriters tasked with producing first drafts of all the content
-Optimizing online content for search engines and social media distribution
-Developing strategies for improving visitor-to-lead conversion of content
-Figuring out how to communicate new product features while turning them into compelling selling points
-Monitoring and advancing discussions about recruiting technology and social media issues and trends

REQUIREMENTS:
-Highly experience writer and editor
-Incredible time management and contributor management skills
-A high-level understanding of HR/recruiting technology and an interest in social media, and a B2B writing experience is a must
-Experience building awareness and interest online
-Effective Internet Research Skills
-1-2 years of journalism and/or content creation experience (prior internship experience counts)

This is a perfect position for a content copywriter who would like to expand his or her skill set by learning more about Internet Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Social Media Management, Graphic Design and/or Web Development.
