Content Marketing Lead

Our Global Consulting client is looking for a Senior Digital Content Marketing Lead.  This senior talent will be charged with 

Developing global strategy for all written and visual content needs to best support the 

overall thematic strategies and specific unit needs 

 Identifying key messages to develop story briefs for new content 

 Delivery quality content consistently across channels 

 Managing a team of writers and designers and assigning projects 

 Overseeing operations of content initiatives 

 Measuring outcomes through analytics 

Key to this role is the ability to maximize the value of overarching theme content by honing in on the 

primary messages and using them to tell stories offering through various different content 


Your success will be evaluated based on several factors including the content’s impact on business 

outcomes, the content’s effectiveness measured by defined KPIs, operational effectiveness, and your 

team’s ability to manage and execute their individual tasks. 

In this role, you will: 

 Develop the overarching content strategy, roadmap, and KPIs in support of business 

objectives and campaigns 

 Provide strategic recommendations, guidance, and support to functional and unit 

teams on content development and placement 

 Liaise with other teams and external agencies to develop joint content components 

 Manage and mentor a team of writer and designers 

 Review and approve all content/assets for quality, SEO and engagement 

 Manage all operations, including processes, templates, reports/dashboards, and budget 

 Monitor the ROI/value of all strategic investments 

 Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and corporate content policies and processes 


 5-10 years’ experience in agency, corporate communications or journalism, preferably with a B2B 

services organization 

 Focused on communications writing, such as business media content, trade media content 

 Skilled in translating technical information into digestible content for readers of all types 

 Strong written and oral communicator 

 Solid examples of content creation: traditional, digital, and exec communications 

 Editing, proofreading skills 

 Project management 

 Brand advocate 

 Multi-task and detail oriented 

 Highly-skilled in managing teams, supplier and other contributors through an effective project 

management approach 

 Experience in tracking key metrics and reporting value to senior management 

 Experience in managing cross-cultural remote teams 

 Monitor event budget and resource evaluation 

 Excellent communication (verbal/written) skills 

 Ability to travel 25% of the time 

BA required; Master’s degree or Ph.D. preferred
