Content Manager/Editor

As a Content Manager/Editor, you will be responsible for two activities:
1. Maintaining and improving content on this top tech firm's professional development center. Basic web skills are preferable as much of the content management will be via HTML, however you will not be responsible for web development.
2. Project managing the localization of this large amount of content in up to 10 languages.

- You will primarily be reactive in response to user feedback, but will also proactively look for improvements to customer-facing content. For this, you will need an outstanding written communication ability. Experience with education is NOT required.
- You will be able to make these changes in an HTML environment with some familiarity.
- You will coordinate and work with the localization team and global program managers to translate the content into different languages.
- You understand and can articulate the values of the company and their products, and confidently manage a variety of interests as you interact with a wide range of project teams internally.
- The role demands discipline, hard work, time management and diligence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Write and/or edit copy, including website help content, user interface (UI) messaging, and other instructional pieces.
* Record, track and monitor all changes to ensure the timely improvement of content.
* Implement copy changes in an HTML environment.
* Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment to localize existing English language content into up to 10 languages.
* Ensure that our customers/educators have positive interactions with Google and our new professional development center.

Required experience:
Editing: Excellent written ability. Ideally with either arts bachelors degree with heavy written component, or experience in a role require extensive written work.
Project management: 1-2 years experience managing a project with multiple, staged deadlines, and internal and external stakeholder.
Html: Ability to write basic html, demonstrated through either created websites, or technical qualification.
