Content Manager, e-Business

Our client in Indianapolis has an outstanding opportunity for a Content Manager within their growing eBusiness segment. The Content Manager will be responsible for establishing content strategy for company products on their customers' ecommerce sites. This individual will work with customers and internal departments to drive the creation and distribution of rich content.


Major Responsibilities:

• Establishes content strategy for the eBusiness segment
• Manages product detail, brand and multimedia content across customers’ sites
• Evaluates customers’ content for improvement opportunities
• Collaborates cross-functionally to drive rich content creation and distribution
• Works closely with online partners to measure and improve visibility and conversion
• Collaborates with customers to execute and implement promotional initiatives
• Coordinates creation and distribution of effective promotional content
• Travel several times a year to meet with customers and agencies


Education / Skills / Attributes:
- B.S. in a business or marketing related field and 5+ years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with the content marketing needs of the online channel
- Experience working with online vendors as customers
- Deep understanding of consumer behavior
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills
- Effective communicator and highly collaborative in nature
- Strong problem solving skills
- Comfortable driving execution to plan
