Content Manager

Healthcare company seeks an experienced Content Manager to develop and manage compelling marketing content across various channels. The Content Manager will manage communications that need to strategically reach prospects and existing customers and promote engagement while driving leads. The ideal Content Manager will have enthusiasm for their profession, a personal passion for helping others, and strong skills in creativity. 

The Content Manager will manage a team of writers while ensuring all content produced, both digital and print, adheres to best practices for accessibility, usability, and readability, and effectively takes buyers on a journey from awareness to retention. The Content Manager will also execute a well-defined content strategy while working cross-functionally with market management, design, digital, event planning, thought leadership, corporate communications, and SMEs—for campaigns, programs, and other efforts. 

Basic Qualifications 
• Significant experience with content development and management 
• Experience with advising other writers and editors 
• Exceptionally strong writing and organizational skills 
• Experience with medical technology or the healthcare industry 
• At least 10 years of experience creating and executing marketing programs, campaigns, and promotions to drive engagement and loyalty across various channels 
• Adeptness in collaborating with market managers, designers, developers, and SMEs 
• Significant experience with brand strategy and enforcement 
• Familiarity with content and project management systems 
• Ability to work with tight deadlines 
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office 
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field 


Preferred Qualifications 
• Experience with search engine optimization 
• Expertise with marketing automation tools 
• Familiar with the Challenger marketing methodology 
• Familiarity with developing user persona for targeted communications 
• Advanced education in Technical Communications 
• Familiarity with various publishing styles, including the AMA Manual of Style, Associated Press Stylebook and Chicago Manual of Style 
• Expertise in working in Adobe Acrobat
