Content Manager

Aquent is currently searching for a Content Manager for a 6 month project with our Fortune 500 partner. In this role, you will be responsible for the hands-on management of moving content through established workflows as they are migrated from legacy to new data-centers. You should demonstrate a holistic understanding of content migration processes, including project plan management, status reporting (both on paper and verbal), communications, risk evaluation and reporting, project team deliverables and the ability to ensure efficiency and productivity across multiple teams.

• Provide day-to-day management of multiple data-center content migration related project, including off-hour migration events
• Accountable for diverse and complex projects in the areas of manual and system migrations between data-centers and improving the quality of the content migrations
• Manage the efficient movement of content migrations across work-flow hand-offs
• Lead the project team to the delivery of successful project outcomes
• Coordinate the activities of multi-functional teams, as well as the project task dependencies and schedule
• Understand scope, risk and issue management, including documenting, communicating and facilitating resolutions or mitigation plans
• Review integration, training and implementation plans and activities
• Manage content stakeholders and multiple project teams in the context of a single project
• Identify, deliver and document organizational, application and human workflows that contribute to policy and procedure updates throughout each project
• Manage and facilitate all project content migration initiatives as prioritized by management


Desired Skills and Experience
• Experience planning, designing, and executing content expansion, consolidations, restructuring, relocations, and migrations and documenting changes including project plans, architectural plans and various enterprise class project tracking and reporting tools
• Demonstrated management skills and the ability to work effectively to build relationships with product managers, project managers and key partners
• Experience making formal and informal presentations to key stakeholders
• Demonstrated understanding of customer business needs in support of content program objectives
• Experience managing projects with multiple project teams, product development lifecycle, or quality lifecycle
• Ability to identify and resolve problems and conflicts
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, prioritize work, manage time and respond effectively to a rapidly changing environment
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills in assessing and mitigating risks through risk planning, recording, practice management and financial management
• Familiarity with content structure and meta data
