Content Manager - HR

Help define and drive the structure for HR-related content and implement processes and a framework for ongoing content management.
This new role will be critical to driving better self-service within our current company wiki to reduce the number of common inquiries that the shared services center receives today.


· Drive the content management framework and content structure for the HR portal wiki.

· Implement a process for ensuring content stays up to date and define owners for each content area to be responsible for managing ongoing updates.

· Define metrics for measuring the effectiveness of the content and work with IT and Engineering teams on getting these measure implemented within the wiki.

· Work together with HR content SMEs, Internal Communications, the Legal Department and the appropriate Functional Leadership to publish information on the HR Portal.

· Act as a key point of contact for the People team on content updates.

· Gather and update the case management system knowledge base with canned responses, knowledge base articles, and local content when appropriate.

· Assist the People Services team with policy and procedure implementation and communication.

· Collect and report regional metrics on HR Portal and Knowledge base usage (e.g. which pages are most used, which pages are oldest – newest, etc.).

· Develop and provide training on how to update content on the wiki.


· System knowledge preferred of Workday, Case management solutions (CRM), HR Portal.

· Previous HR Portal deployment and HR content management experience.

· Technical understanding of software operating systems and ability to work comfortably with HRIS & Engineers.

· Knowledge of MS Sharepoint or other content management tools.

· Knowledge of HTML, Javascript, and MediaWiki or other wiki solutions.

· Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel with ability to analyze data using vlookups, macros, and pivot tables.

· Well-developed communication skills - written, presentation, verbal.

· Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain involvement in many projects at any given time is required.

· Self-starter with ability to take initiative and work well with larger teams.


· Bachelor's degree in Business HR, Computer Science, information systems or related field or equivalent business experience.
