Content Management Specialist

Our client, a top financial institution, is looking for a highly motivated Content Management Specialist with Taxonomy or Information Architect experience to help lead and define procedures and content management strategy across their Global footprint. 

This role will sit in Brooklyn, New York, and the duration is 6 months onsite with the opportunity to extend if it's a good fit. 

Key responsibilities will include: 
• Establish knowledge & content management strategy within the ‘Know Your Customer’ team 
• Design content management solution for the CIB KYC policy and procedures globally 
• Develop and execution plan involving automated solution 
• Develops and maintains excellent working relationship with key stakeholder 
• Establishing program/project standards and run governance and update meetings with key global stakeholders 
• Planning and reporting of the project, including participation in various governance forums 
• Developing executive level presentations and metrics for senior management reporting/updates 
• Coordinating process reengineering and facilitate implementation 


Qualifications 
• Solid understanding of metadata, subject classification, description cataloging, user experience, and knowledge organization 
• Strong technical skills in Taxonomy/ content management 
• Track record of working in knowledge management, ideally in policy and procedures within the financial services 
• Strategy experience from a top tier consulting firm, including KYC experience, is a plus 
• Business management experience in the financial services industry is a plus 
• Project management experience of at least 3 experience; within Financial Services industry is a plus 
• Analytics and modeling skills 
• Strong Partnership and Presence: Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders and senior management 
• Previous experience in strategic and tactical initiatives: Ability to identify problems and propose solutions 
• Detail oriented and strong organizational skills: Takes ownership and is accountable for area of responsibility 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Process re-engineering experience 
• Executive level presentation skills are a must 
• Ability to be flexible and follow tight deadlines 
• A graduate degree in information management or library and information science is preferred
