A growing marketing team at an innovative financial company is looking for a Content Engagement Manager. This is a full time role in San Francisco.


Reporting to the director of content marketing, the content engagement manager will be responsible for distributing content across all corporate content distribution channels including social media, email newsletters, paid advertising, and internal employee awareness efforts.

Collaborating closely with members of the Content Marketing Team, the in-house creative team, stakeholders, and agency partners, this person will develop and promote engaging content designed to attract links, foster social engagement, and increase web traffic. This person will maintain the company brand tone and voice while appropriately adjusting for each distribution channel. The role will be engaged with ongoing development, curation and publication of content on various social media channels. This person will help formalize the company email newsletter program including planning, implementing, analyzing, and optimizing the program. This person should be a flexible team player, willing to roll up their sleeves, and be able to prioritize among multiple projects.

Description
- Collaborate closely with other members of the Content Marketing Team as well as agency partners, internal creative services, and other stakeholders.
- Create, maintain, and execute a social media editorial calendar (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) and email newsletter calendar.
- Strategize, create, and execute all social media components of broader multi-touch marketing efforts.
- Regularly monitor KPIs to evaluate success of each type of content, by channel, and influence content development/distribution strategy accordingly.
- Help launch email marketing program with a particular focus on email newsletters.
- Build and nurture relationships with internal partners in order to foster content sharing and promotion and garner ideas for relevant content topics and formats.
- Regularly monitor competitors and industry leaders to identify new types of content and distribution methods.
- Attend company events. Travel, attend and help represent the company at internal and external events for content creation & curation.
- Manage agencies, designers and freelancers and other vendors as required.

Required Qualifications
· 3 – 5+ years relevant content marketing/ social media experience, financial services industry experience preferred.
· Must possess excellent writing skills, with experience writing content for brands and distributing through corporate social media channels such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram.
· Experience working in fast-paced environments and creating editorial content at a moment’s notice.
· Experience with designing and distributing email newsletters.
· Polished communication and presentation skills with the ability to speak confidently about social media and content marketing to internal audiences.
· Intuitive and people-savvy, capable of understanding and navigating complex and nuanced organizations.
· Must be a service-oriented team player with a hands-on work ethic, experienced in collaborating on projects with multiple players and stakeholders.
· The ideal candidate will have a passion, and proven experience, for developing and promoting engaging content designed to attract links, social shares, and web traffic.
· Experience with social media publishing and engagement platforms.
