Aquent's client, an American multinational technology company specializing in Internet-related services and products, is seeking a Content Editor for a 6–month assignment.
Pay: Up to 49.50/hr. DOE

Project Overview:
As an editor on our content strategy team, you fact-check, copy-edit, curate and maintain consumer-facing content for digital travel products, as well as travel content for an internal website. You are also responsible for researching and writing short features for an external-facing careers site. The range and deadlines of your assignments vary greatly; however, you are able to efficiently multitask to ensure the accuracy and quality of a high volume of content in a timely fashion. The role demands extreme discipline, hard work, attention to detail and diligence.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
1. Fact-checking, line editing and copy editing content
2. Research, curation and quality assurance of content and short feature writing
3. General editorial and operational support, including data entry

Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree in Journalism,English,Communications or overall 4 years of work exp
- 2+ year(s) of editorial experience; travel vertical experience strongly preferred
- Top-notch writing/editing skills and experience with style guides
- Exceptional research and fact-checking skills
- Technical ability to operate in a content management system
- Knowledge of spreadsheets, such as Google Sheets or Excel

Nice to Have Skills:
- Digital publishing experience preferred
- Ability to deliver a high volume of work quickly and accurately
