Content Editor needed to handle all levels of edit for a diverse set of Web content including developer-focused white papers, awareness-building newsletter, and technical product documentation in a collaborative, team-based environment. The content editor ensures that documents read well, are grammatically correct, are free of typos, and use correct product terminology and style per corporate and team style and brand guidelines.

In addition to delivering high-quality output, the successful candidate will have excellent time management and organizational skills, including the ability to accurately gauge project duration, deliver on deadlines, and manage a workload with possible conflicting priorities.

Specific responsibilities include:
• Establish and maintain style guide for some types of content.
• Establish and maintain consistent tone and language across the content.
• Follows corporate and team standards and guidelines to edit a variety of documents and web content for grammar, spelling, usage and style.
• Rewrite content for clarity and consistency, if necessary.
• Provide feedback to writers on editorial changes.
• Work efficiently and within timelines, making level-of-edit decisions based on the priority and schedule set for a given project.
• Manage own workload and deadlines.
• Review layouts, assessing how copy works with the overall design.

2 plus years editing experience required. Strong writing, editing, project management, communication and organization skills required. Must have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work as part of a team. Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English or a field related to the subject area in which they will be working is required.
