Aquent's client, an American multinational technology company specializing in Internet-related services and products, is seeking a Content Editor for a 6–month assignment.
Up to $31.68/hr. DOE

As an Editor on our editorial team, you research, create, edit, and manage a portion of travel and place-based customer-facing content. You will be flexible, detail-oriented and work on a range of different projects, with varying deadlines. The role requires strong editorial instincts, the ability to move among projects on short notice, and working with a number of stakeholders with varying levels of daily involvement.

Overall Responsibilities:
Write and/or edit copy, including user interface (UI) content and other consumer-facing pieces.
Work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.

Top 3 daily responsibilities:
Support the editorial process for creating travel and place-based content.
Run weekly checks on live content and other regularly scheduled QA tasks.
Deliver quality control reports and make recommendations based on findings.

Required Skills:
BA/BS Degree in English or Communications
Minimum 2 years of experience as a content editor or researcher
Must have strong writing and editing skills.
Must have strong project management skills and be deadline driven.
Must have experience operating within in a content management system.

Nice to have:
Prior experience writing or editing travel and/or place-based copy
