One of our valued clients in the oil and gas exploration industry is seeking a Content Developer/Manager for a long-term temporary contract. This role will be onsite, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

The Content Developer/Manager is focused on supporting our client's efforts to develop and enhance formal and informal learning tools. Specific areas of support would include web design, SharePoint design and development / delivery of Online Training programs.

Primary Job Functions:

• Supporting Technical Resources Manager and Training Manager, work tasks will vary day to day ranging from technical design to administrative
• Technical support for SharePoint wiki site ‘Wellipedia’
• Troubleshoot / optimize existing site to maximize usefulness and functionality
• Interface with IT department on transition to SharePoint 2010
• Interact with users / content developers to highlight benefits of system and expose new users to full suite of functionality
• Periodically develop presentations regarding system effectiveness
• Develop and publish updates for functional Intranet sites with focus on delivering excellent quality design to maximize user experience
• Work with Training Advisors and Technical Champions to develop and deliver Online Training programs
• Support Technical Champions with development of technical papers and manuals ensuring use of appropriate technical style guides

Job Requirements:
• Candidate must be focused, self-motivated and require limited supervision
• Outstanding teamwork skills, enjoy working as part of small group
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing
• Open to diverse set of work assignments with dynamic timelines
• Significant relevant experience using the following design tools:
• Microsoft SharePoint
• Dreamweaver CS5
• MS Office / Adobe Acrobat

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

• Comfortable giving formal presentations / training would be an asset
• Prior experience designing and building Computer Based Training programs
• Experience using the following design tools:
• Articulate Presenter
• Adobe Fireworks
• Adobe Captivate
• Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator
• Dreamweaver CS5
• MS Office & Adobe Acrobat
